1. Agreement to Terms

By using the Tangipahoa Sand & Gravel website or placing an order, you agree to these terms of service.

If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and contractor account holders.

2. Services Described

Tangipahoa Sand & Gravel provides bulk material delivery, dirt work, grading, and material spreading services in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, and surrounding areas.

Materials include sand, gravel, limestone, fill dirt, topsoil, garden soil, mulch, and recycled aggregate.

3. Ordering and Payment

All quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change based on material availability and market conditions.

Payment is due at time of delivery unless a contractor account with NET-30 terms has been established.

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Contractor accounts are invoiced monthly with NET-30 payment terms.

Late payments on contractor accounts may result in account suspension and a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

4. Delivery Terms

Delivery dates are estimates. We make every effort to deliver on the scheduled date, but delays may occur due to weather, equipment, traffic, or other circumstances.

Delivery placement: We place materials as close to the requested location as our equipment allows. Final placement depends on ground conditions, access, and safety.

Access requirements: The delivery site must be accessible to our trucks. This includes adequate road width, firm ground, and clear overhead. If our driver cannot safely access the site, the load may be placed at the nearest accessible point.

Property damage: We take care to avoid damage to your property. However, heavy trucks can damage soft ground, pavement, and landscaping. By scheduling delivery, you acknowledge this risk.

Minimum order: 1 cubic yard for delivery.

5. Material Specifications

Bulk materials are natural products. Color, texture, size, and composition may vary between loads.

We do not guarantee exact color matching between deliveries. Natural variation is expected and is not grounds for return or refund.

Material weights and volumes are approximate. One cubic yard is measured at our facility. Settling during transport may affect appearance but not actual quantity.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tangipahoa Sand & Gravel is not liable for:

• Damage to property caused by normal delivery operations
• Material suitability for a specific purpose unless we recommended it in writing
• Delays caused by weather, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control
• Results of material use, including but not limited to drainage, compaction, or growing results

Our maximum liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Orders may be canceled before delivery at no charge. Once a truck is loaded or en route, the order cannot be canceled.

Delivered materials cannot be returned. All sales are final once material is placed on site.

If you believe you received the wrong material or incorrect quantity, contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

8. Property Access

By placing an order for delivery, you grant Tangipahoa Sand & Gravel permission to access your property for the purpose of material delivery.

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the delivery site is accessible and clear
• Marking any underground utilities, sprinklers, or septic systems
• Providing accurate delivery directions
• Securing pets and removing obstacles from the delivery path

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: severe weather, flooding, hurricanes, road closures, equipment failure, supply shortages, or government actions.

10. SMS Terms

By providing your phone number and submitting a form, you consent to receive text messages from Tangipahoa Sand & Gravel regarding your order, quote, or account.
